I chose this particular entry because it's relatable; For the past 2 years, I have developed the habit of skipping lunch on most days, for the exact reason why Dr. Burch skips his.

For some reason, I become sleepy shortly after a meal, no matter how small the portions or serving size of the meal may be. I have come to believe that skipping lunch makes me more alert and productive so I would rather remain hungry than grab a meal, if I have a lot to accomplish on a particular afternoon. Unlike Dr. Burch, I am actually unwilling to risk having a "good hot lunch" every once in a while because I know for certain what the outcome would be.

I must add that this habit of skipping lunch has been survivable over the years because I make sure to start off my busy days with hefty meals.
